Is
Hansie plain greedy or amazingly smart? Is he merely optimistic
about making the best of even troubled times or is he a
scheming opportunist? Even as he suffers battering from his
country, the court and the people the world over, Cronje does not
stop even once in stopping the regular flow of moolah . And this
time round, he's doing it sans the bookies.
Even
the South Africans are now over with the tongue lashing. They now
beginning to feel that Cronje has gotten the punishment he
deserved, and now should be forgiven. Cronje, on the other hand is
still steady on his money-making spree, thanks to his self
confessed "great love for money". He has already
appeared in a highly lucrative television talk show and is now
negotiating with a publisher to reveal his side of the story in a
book. Rumours say that he is even planning to sell his story for a
great Hollywood blockbuster! South Africans might feel that there
is absolutely nothing whatsoever wrong with it at all, yet Indians
do not quite share similar sentiments.
According to a recent poll
conducted, 20 percent remained undecided. On one hand, 42 percent
felt that Cronje is basically a greedy person, trying to take
advantage of even the worst phase of his life. However, on the
other hand, 38 percent of Indians did agree with Cronje's fellow
South Africans that there is nothing wrong in what he is doing.
Whatever
be the say of the people, one thing is sure. The guy is one lucky
bloke. He has the power to earn his dough both with or without his
job.
